Retired explorer Rick O'Connell's son Alex accidentally unearths the tomb of the First Emperor of China Emperor Han and breaks a 2,000-year-old curse. As a result, the Emperor comes back to life with a diabolical plan to enslave the world. Rick, together with Alex, wife Evelyn and her brother, Jonathan, sets out to thwart the Dragon Emperor and his terra cotta warriors.
